This policy explains how MUDARISA LLP (“Mudarisa”, “we”, “us”), which runs the SheTutor, Mudarisa and Mentora programmes, collects and uses personal information when you visit www.mudarisa.com, contact us, or join our classes.
1. Information we collect
- Contact details you give us: your name, WhatsApp number, email address and country.
- Learner details: the learner’s name, grade or level, syllabus, programme chosen and preferred class times.
- Class records: attendance, sessions held, progress notes and fee payments.
- Mentor and applicant details (for teachers who apply or work with us): qualifications, subjects, availability and, for payments, bank details.
- Website data: our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may keep basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security.
2. How we use it
- To arrange free demo classes and match each learner with a mentor.
- To schedule and run live online classes and share progress updates.
- To send fee reminders and receipts, and to keep accounts as the law requires.
- To reply to your questions on WhatsApp, phone or email.
- To pay mentors and other team members.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Children’s information
Most of our learners are children. We collect a child’s details only from a parent or guardian, who agrees to this policy on the child’s behalf. We use children’s information only to provide their classes. Parents can ask to see, correct or delete their child’s information at any time.
4. Online classes
Classes are held live over video calling and messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Google Meet or Zoom. These services have their own privacy policies. We do not record classes unless we tell you first.
5. Who we share it with
- The mentor assigned to the learner, only what they need to teach.
- Service providers that help us run the business, for example our records system (Zoho), email, website hosting (Cloudflare) and our bank, under their own security commitments.
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as the learner studies with us, and afterwards only as long as needed for accounts, tax and legal purposes. We then delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you or your child,
- correct or update it,
- delete it, where we are not required to keep it,
- withdraw your consent (this may mean we can no longer provide classes).

8. Security
We limit access to personal information to the people who need it, and use password-protected systems. No online system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page with its date.
